Introducing Think-Dial
Think-Dial really is the telecommunications of the future. This native intelligence telephone communication allows a mobile telephone to be controlled by the brain’s electrical activity. Sound unbelievable? Yes, that’s exactly how we felt to until we tried it out and was completely astounded at the results.
How it works
There are 16 sensors that are attached to a headset and are worn as you would wear any headset. These sensors work to collect data from the brain which works as a brain-controlled interface technology that speaks to a specially designed mobile device.
If you think of it in terms of when someone speaks, sound waves activate sensory neurons in your inner ear. These neurons pass information to areas of the brain where different aspects of the sound are extracted and interpreted as words.
With Think-Dial this works in the same way but without the need for speech. Basically the mobile device is constantly interfacing with the sensors you are wearing and picking apart different decoded messages, when it recognises one of the commands…i.e. a name that is preprogrammed into the device, it will begin dialing that number.
This really is the technology of the future, its Tim Berners-Lee meets Steve jobs meets Arthur C Clarke and who would want to miss that board-meeting!
